Well here we are again, newsletter 2008.2
Hello Again,
Well; 2008 got off to a
scary start with raw materials up 19% on average and threats of major price
increases from our suppliers, however in reality only 5% of our range has
suffered a price increase and we have been able to absorb any other increases.
In particular all of our BoSS and Youngman range have been able to maintain our
already extremely competitive prices and we are not expecting any imminent price
increases
Demand for BoSS equipment is higher than ever before and there is now a dedicated BoSS site,

We also have the full
range of BoSS components available, These are quite complex so we feel the
easiest way to supply these is to arrange a formal quote via email and then when
/ if the quote is accepted we will generate the invoice; because of the vast
range of individual components we really need to quote for these via email and
not over the phone, this avoids any misunderstandings. they can be emailed
directly at

In order to improve
customer service and satisfaction we have a new support centre, this is an
intelligent knowledge base and email management centre combined, because of the
complexity of the software it has been installed on one of our dedicated
mirror servers at buyladders - the base can be seen / used here.

This may seem OTT but in
practice has dramatically improved responses to customers questions both
in speed and answer detail simply by "learning" answers as its used.
We have increased
Youngman's spares in our range, this is still new and so items will be added as and when requested, if there is something you want that is not there then just send us an email request, it will usually be added within 24 hours
Could I also
clarify, that OUR class 1 Industrial ladders are supplied with articulated feet
and wall wheels as standard, at no extra charge, we are aware that due to the
amount of questions we get about this that some sites are offering a big deal
that you can have them as an option for only anther £20.00 etc. :-)
Last, but not least; we
have been awarded with McAfee Hacker safe for site security (this is the highest
award for online order safety available)
What's new?
1/ The new Hedgemaster
RANGE is now online, up and running and in stock, the range now has three
versions, all with an extension pack, it can be seen here - This is the
original, UK manufactured and NOT an imported cheaper copy

Although we are not really geared up for
phone calls, we have improved our call handling technology and included a LoCall
number, these numbers are cheaper to call than a national number and we do NOT
receive any income from using these numbers so the cost to you is kept to a
minimum

We
are trying to deal with calls as efficiently as possible but
realize that this is still less than perfect; on this
subject due to summer holidays and staff shortages we have
decided to close phone support for one week
from
21st through 27th July
2008, this is always a quite time on the phones and we don't
have resources to man the phones when staff are better
deployed dispatching orders and dealing with emails (we can
deal four emails in the time it takes to answer one phone
call).
