Well here we are again, newsletter 2006.1

Hello Again,

Over the last few weeksthe range on class 1 alloy industrial steps has been extended to offer largersizes as a result of numerous requests. We have also included wall wheels and articulated safety feet on all extension class 1 ladders free of charge

The trend has been thatthe majority of our regular customers have switched over from telephone orderingto our fully automated online ordering, as a result of this we have been able to reduce the price of 80% of the online range, these changes are now fully implemented

We do still offer telephone support, but to be honest availability is limited and many of the calls we get cannot be dealt with over the phone, lost / damaged deliveries, or tracking and change of details etc. all must be done via email

We have introduced an "intelligent" knowledge base, most questions we get asked have already been asked numerous times in the past, the knowledge base "learns" the questions and answers and so these can be answered instantly and online in future, there is a link to this at the bottom of every page and in the FAQ area

We now have a PDF files for working at heights and safety guidelines as well as for most of our products, these can be downloaded / viewed and saved free of charge from the information area

I'm proud to announce that we have a new recruit in the special access division, Ben Hoyle, comes to us from Youngman and has been fully trained with current working at height (WAHR) regulations and 3T method for scaffold towers, he is familiar with our full range of towers and special access equipment but his speciality is BoSS towers

What's new?

1 / The range of class 1 alloy industrial ladders has been extended, the design has also been improved and all models now have swivel safety feet and wall wheels fitted as standard

2/ We now have the facilityto make the AmbExe loft ladder to custom sizes but be warned, this takes two tothree weeks for delivery. -Youcan see it here

The AmbExe is stillavailable "off the shelf" in standard sizes but we have had a lot ofrequests for special sizes, so here we are, its expensive but really is topquality and very nicely finished with a deep, insulated trap door - A fireresistant version is also available

3/ The range of loft ladders has been further extended, there are too many additions to list here so I suggest you see the range on the websites

4/ Fibre glass ladder sales have more than tripled in the last six months, we have therefore extended this range to include "combination" ladders.They can be seen here

5/ The range of industrial platform steps now go as high as 4.16m, with a standard "off the shelf model" APS13 reaching 3.6m

6/ There is now a range of double sided class 1 industrial steps

7/ We have added the Monarch range of professional wood / alloy window cleaners ladders, we always get asked for these but the prices were prohibitive, now we have secured a VERY special deal and the deluxe models are extremely competitively priced, they include a rubber bung at the top and rubber feet on the base sections. The price difference between these and the budget range is now small and the Monarch range is out selling the budget range

8/ new budget range of domestic alloy push up ladder; great value!

9/ The Youngmans trade glass fibre ladders are now all in stock

10/ You can now buy rackclamps in a set of 1, when placing an order for a ladder

11/ We have the Zarges steps in swing back and platform, these are expensive but are much more substantial than ordinary steps and according to the washing up advert, they will last longer and so are really cheaper

12/ We now have the full range of Youngmans DIY100 ladders and the trade T200 ladders available online for immediate dispatch

13/ We have added laddercovers to the accessories, these fit on the top of trade ladders to reduce damage and the risk of slipping

14/ Also in the accessories there is now a Laddermat an economical and easy to use safety device

15/ After numerous requests we have added Youngmans spares to our range, this is still new and so items will be added as and when requested, if there is something you want that is not there then just send us an email request, it will usually be added within 24 hours
